High Rank Auditions [closed]

In order to settle the high ranks here on CTS, we do operate with auditions to give everyone a shot at positions and to ensure those who audition can live up to the activity expectations. To begin with, make sure you have read the high rank requirements thread, and agree to those before applying!

As a high rank, your responsibilities are primarily in character. You will need to take part in any threads where your high rank's presence is requested, especially in consideration to medicine cats, along with fulfil any responsibilities that would belong to the rank, such as deputies running patrols, leaders holding clan meetings and ceremonies, and medicine cats maintaining herb stocks. While not a requirement, it will be expected that these will take place here and there as the need or urge pops up.

Leaders will have the added responsibilities of being involved in any decisions about outsiders joining a clan, and in establishing what their leader will tolerate as far as rule breaking and behaviour.

Each member may have two high ranks. As of the site opening, they cannot be in the same clan, nor of the same rank. You cannot have a Leader/Deputy combination, nor a Medicine Cat/Medicine Cat Apprentice combination. These may change as logical site progression happens, however a member will never be allowed to have two of the same rank.

To audition, you'll need to post your character's biography here, using either the standard form, or the freeform form found in the biography forms.

You may post work in progress biographies, however be aware that they will count toward your one work in progress limit, so it is of your highest interest to finish them as soon as humanly possible. As soon as they are done, you are welcome to continue with other biographies.

When completing your biography, take careful note of the names and moons in the rank listed in the clan history thread. Leaders and medicine cats may choose how long they have been in the rank for and how long they were the previous rank. However high rank names have been predetermined. Deputies and medicine cat apprentices will need to match whatever their higher rank has decided for them, as far as how long they have been in the position.

Once two or more completed auditions have been posted, all will be considered. If there is a stand out entry, where the character is highly preferable, and the roleplayer is proving to be active and getting involved with the community, a choice may be made on the spot.

However, in most cases it will be a draw, and staff will want to give more time for the roleplayers to stand out as much as the characters in terms of meeting the requirements of those with high ranks. Given this, a deadline will be set, and any additional biographies that are finished will also be considered. At the deadline, a decision will be made if one or all roleplayers have proved themselves active. If there is no audition who's roleplayer meets the requirements, the deadline will be extended again.

You may audition for two ranks at the same time. However We'd recommend waiting till your first audition's rank has been decided, then going for another.
